Supercool! Wish I had the patience to knit more. Managed a nice oversized shawl last year but the monotony of it……………

I usually have more than one project at a time. The tricky stuff that i have to count stitches i leave at home. I have managed 3 circular blankets (they always start off being for my bed, but only ever end up as knee rugs) that i would take with me to dance class waiting rooms, the dentist, doctor etc. Easy and don’t worry about the time. One took me over a year to finish.

Cool! I’ve been thinking of making an eleventh doctor bow tie for a while now

I picked up some 2nd hand ones for him to mess around with (he also got one from my dad after he saw How To Suceed In Business in New York – the Daniel Radcliff blue). I’d really love to find my vintage pattern (and tying instructions) of ‘proper’ tie. My son is getting kinda restless… Then again, maybe the perfect project to get him started in front of a machine!
