This is a corset I made from plain cotton, not a very good material I found to use for this particular project.

Material Notes

-polyester ribbing
-1/4’’ grommets/eyelets
-fusible interface
-sewing machine
-fabric glue

It took about three to four days but I made it during a four day weekend so I had a lot of time… I used gfreek27’s “create a customfit corset pattern w/ duct tape” how to, other than that I was pretty much just winging it since she only has the completed product and no pictures during the actual construction…

It was pretty fun though =]

I’m not actually sure, the cotton I used is for quilting is very thin, so any fabric thicker than that…I’m starting a new one with brocade, so I’ll get back to you on how that goes?

Very interesting. What would be a better material to use for this type of project?
