Doctor Schiwago meets Adam

Added Oct 3, 2012

by Ralf Schmitz

Berlin, Germany

After a very long time of trying hard to upload a new project, i finally changed my internetbrowser and it seems to work again!

So I proudly present to you my newest version of the Adam-coat-pattern. Completly overworked and more modern and lean. Last but not least much shorter and slimer and with a fur trimming.

The outside is again with cashmere, the inside is this time with a thickly quilted silk lining. Most of the seams are finished by hand and i tried my best to give it that special look, i love on selfmade projects.

I hope you like this very warm and cosy version of the Adam coat as much as i do!

Material Notes

Cashmere outside, silk quilted inside, buttons, thread

Garment Type
Casual, Classic
Cashmere, Leather/Fur, Silk

Ralf; your workmanship really shines in this project. Love the fur! The details, especially on the pockets are impeccable. This garment should keep you warm and cozy as you say, plus proud that you created it with your own hands.

Ralf, you are right. We are never happy with the weather we are given. As I head for the really hot weather we experience here in an Australian summer, I am busy sewing up some beautiful cotton voile’s which are such a pleasure to sew. Take care and stay well.
