Description

Here a home-tailored Dirndl dress that I finished last year.
Worn at the Octoberfest last September.
The blouse with cleavage is designed by myself. I saw a lady on TV wearing a similar one and tried to make a sew- and wearable pattern.
The Dirndl is made of Toile de Jouy fabric, the apron is made of lace, the blouse of cotton fabric, and I’m wearing a gray tulle petticoat underneath.

The little bretzel is made of fabric, looks so real! (bought at Dawanda)

The drawing of the Dirndl dress was my competition entry for a Dirndl Design Contest of a German fashion label, but I didn’t win – finally I sewed the dress for me and I’m happy to have a OOAK Dirndl dress that I won’t see twice.

I’,m having 4 Dirndl dresses, will show another one soon.
