Description

Here I show you another one of my home-tailored Dirndl dresses – made for the Bavarian Octoberfest in Munich. I designed also the lace blouse, can be worn in Carmen style or shoulder-covering. The apron is made of chiffon with golden embroidery. At first I had the black border, embroidered with haws and thistles – and I used all other materials that matches these colours and motifs. That’s why I felted haws by hand, they are embellishment for the front lacing, and a thistle is on my necklace – this is self-made, too (vintage brooch on a velvet ribbon).
