I used Vogue 8884 to help me sew up this trench coat. I was inspired by a particular Burberry coat. I drafted a few components to mimic some of the details. You can see loads of photos and all my progress here on my blog Kathy Sews.

Your coat is great and fits you well. Nice details ! Great photos on your blog as well. I know about the search for buckles, I found what I was looking for at an Equine Emporium.

Thank you!! And I looked up Equine Emp…. I think they are only in Canada :( I’m down in the US. Isn’t it odd that it’s such a chore to find plain and simple buckles?!
