Description

I’d love to add more of my past sewing projects to my studio here at Burda Style, but I don’t have photos for most of them! I just found these photos recently. I made this babydoll dress about 2 years ago. I used lightweight denim for the main part of the dress. The front bodice inset is actually a completed kitten cross stitch that I found at a thrift store! The attached belt and flutter sleeves are made from mini houndstooth print polyester. I no longer have the sewing pattern that I used to make it, but it was a 1970s Butterick pattern.

Well, you successfully crammed a million awesome things into one dress. I mean, cute kittens, heart shaped neckline, BLUE!, ruffles, 70s goodness…really couldn’t ask for more. LOVE THIS!

Thank you! Yes, there’s nothing like some 70s goodness to make me happy…I think that 99.9% of my patterns are from the 1970s !!! xoxo
