couture inspired dress

i watched a bunch of runway shows online and wrote down the type of styles i liked and put a bunch of them into this dress. it has a yoke that’s unattached to the rest of the dress except by five metal spirals. the belt is threaded through the fabric, and i also made a 50s inspired jacket because i had to play handbells in this dress, and handbells don’t sound good when they touch other metals.

Material Notes

orange eyelet knit, orange (i think it was curtain fabric), pink sheer, white cotton, blue polyester silk, metal spirals, zipper
