Description

Although the corset top looks complicated, it goes together quite easily. If I made this again, I would make the sleeves end an inch or two earlier on the strap, because the sleeve is overlapping where the straps cross and it causes wrinkles.

I got so many compliments on this dress — it was perfect for a spring wedding. I wore McCalls 7254 over it because it was a little chilly.

Material Notes

The fabric is a Rifle Paper Co. rayon, and I used a stretchy satin for the lining.

I didn’t have corset boning, but in a snap I was able to use plastic zipties (2 for each side) – I found this suggestion online and it worked great.
