Description

I love the versatility of sewing a garment that can be worn many ways! This vintage pinafore was made from a combo of the Burda Style #105 “Pocket Skirt” for the bottom half, and a vintage year 1941 Advance pattern for the bib bodice. Both the skirt and the bib bodice have snaps and hooks around the waist to keep them like a dress when I want to wear them together! I can wear this combo as a skirt, a dress, an over-blouse jumper, or a bib bodice. This is sewn with 100% rayon so it’s comfy and feminine, and the romantic rose print matches with just about anything! I love skirts with pockets! The right one on the vintage pattern reminds me of the old timely candystriper uniforms worn by teenage hospital volunteers circa 1960-70’s.
