Coffee Date Dress in navy pinstripe heavyweight cotton

Added Jan 7, 2013

by Amy Hawksworth

My first real attempt at making a dress without too much input from my very talented mother. I made the pattern too large (must have added extra seam allowances, plus my measurements didn’t exactly fit the Burda sizing charts!) I think it looks lovely, can’t wait to wear it out. I just need a date now!

Material Notes

quite heavy, almost canvas cotton.

Garment Type

Burda Coffee Date Dress

Cute dress I love the stripes and the way the connect on each side. The bow belt is adorable as well! Well done making your dress. I used to have the issue asking my mum for help and somehow it would end up being finished without me even realising or looking at what happened lol!
