Description

A long-sleeve mock-wrap top with the wrap gathered to a curved left side piece.

All joining seams are finished with French seams. Neckline edges and hems are folded inwards covering raw edges and finished with a twin-needle on the sewing machine. The front neckline is reinforced with a strip of twill tape to hold its shape and prevent gape.

The pattern for this top is #110 from the January 2009 Burda World Of Fashion magazine (the current Burda Style magazine).

Material Notes

The fabric is a poly/lycra purchased at Spotlight.

Nice top. You did a good job. I like that the fabric complements the circle gathered part on the side.

Thank you. I didn’t think that there would be this coincidence when first matching fabric to pattern but it ended up that way. I was inspired by Diane Von Fustenberg wrap dresses in lovely jersey prints to make something wrap style with this print.
