Description

Because I wasn’t already a big enough nerd at a glance.

Not bad for a one-night, patternless project done while marathoning Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Long story short, I wanted to make a Cap bag, because Cap is obviously the awesomest Avenger. I didn’t think it would do to render the shield in cloth, but since I didn’t have enough Vibranium laying around, a plastic frisbee Hydra-smasher from Wally World had to do.

All in all, I’m very pleased with how it came out. The outer shell is linen, which, while I loved the shade, I didn’t think it would hold up to the kind of abuse I put my bags through, so I backed it with duck cloth, and lined the whole thing in this perfect 4th of July clearance print from Joann’s.
