One of my first official skirt: “The Burton Skirt” Classic name for a classic style inspired by Tim Burton adn gothic-lolita. It was very hard to find this fabric O_O
Rectangular skirt + laces.

    I’m not sure whether you have something like this, but in germany, there is the “dutch fabric market”, which moves from town to town. twice a year it is near berlin, so I can buy myself all those beautiful fabrics ^^ last time, I’ve found the striped one for only 5€/meter! here is the website:http://www.stoffmarktholland.de/stoffmarkt/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=18&Itemid=4

    I know exactly what you mean. I was searching for red/white striped fabric a long time, till I found it (inspired by burton’s sweeney todd, mrs lovett wears a dress with such fabric in one of her daydreams) great skirt btw ^^
