Cape with giant pockets made for my sister. She wants to use it for travel so that the pockets will make things easily accessible while traveling in the coming year.

    Wow, looking good! I made the 112 version – shorter without the gigantic pockets. I’m pleased with it except I think the position of the armholes is a bit to low for me: if the were higher I could get my hands out to the elbows rather than just the wrists. And I made mine in navy wool boucle, which is nice but on the whole looks a bit dull (the buttons are hidden on my version). I need a brooch or something to look more interesting. If I was to make another one, I’d go for pretty buttons like yours!

    Those happen to be the buttons I put on the very first jacket I sewed! This cape is gorgeous— your sister is so lucky.

    arent’ the holes for the arms incomfortable? it looks like they’re too much to the centre to me…looks great and i absolutely love your buttons <3 gotta make one of these for myself =)
