This is hardly a “pattern”, but it’s a great little last-minute-gift/stash buster.
Here is my version in poly crepe chiffon-very unravelly and a general pain to cut and sew! (Which kind of defeats the purpose of a “quick-sew” project).
But the recipient liked it so it was worth it I guess!
It’s a bit billowy so a belt might be a good styling option.

Some tips:

If you want super precise cutting, use the sandwich method (layer of paper, fabric, layer of paper with pattern pieces traced on). If not, use lots of pins.
Use french seams
Use lots of pins/hand basting
To hem chiffons andother light weight fabrics: http://sewkansas.blogspot.fr/2010/05/tip-hemming-chiffon.html

Thanks for the tips. I love this type of fabric, but it is hard to manipulate.

Me too, I love chiffon but it really is a pain! I’ve got another tip-use sharp scissors!! Or a rotary cutter.
