Burda overall dress hack

Yup I took the overall pattern and added the skirt and hardware. It fits big but it is a tall size pattern. I’m not sure about the side pocket finish. The pockets were too big so I ended up tacking the lower part.

I don’t know if I like them. It was not on my list to sew but I wanted to see if is corduroy would work. In the fall would be better because its too hot right now.

To make overall fit well is hard but it seems you managed well. And I like the colour you chose: it will be easy to combine with many tops, shirts, blouse and sweaters so you will choose which you like better.

I like your dress version and it’s a beautiful fabric. I want to sew this overall in the pant version , I have already the fabric, is it big?

Thank you. The bib is longer than some of the styles trending online. So its an easy adjustment to do. Just make sure give yourself enough length for the straps. The fit is tailored not tight. It works well with woven fabrics or a thicker fabric in denim. If you use a light weight material that would be so comfortable in the heat.

I love your version of this. If you don’t like the pockets just stitch them up. I’ve done this with a few trousers z
