"Bond Girl" 70's Maxi Dress

This was made using flowing polyester interlock and a 1971 Butterick #6671 original pattern. I modified the style slightly to imitate Barbara Bach’s navy blue evening dress from the 1977 James Bond movie “The Spy Who Loved Me”. I sewed on metallic elastic all around the neckline and used it for the straps to have a glamorous look! The thigh-high slit also amps the ‘hottie’ factor. This is so lovely to wear!
