Before i start talking about my latest creation, I’d like to say a big thankyou to my friends mum, Mrs Hoobery for supplying me with an overlocker, Fabric, Ribbons, Trims and over 40 vintage patterns left over from her sewing buisness, to help me to embark on my own textiles carreer… all for £30!

For this creation, i used a which looks like a ‘90s pattern by burda See Pattern Here for what i am only say, some pretty awful looking trousers.
I decided to use the pattern for trousers ’A’ (the white ones) to make some really cute shorts as i quite liked the panel at the front, and used some bright orange fabric to reflect the ‘block colour’ trend for next autumn.
The shorts turned out pretty awesome, and i decided not to sew across the panel at the top, to make a lovely little pocket at the front :)
Ps, this is the first time ive made a garment and serged the edges of the fabric, so i hope they last!
They also look pretty fabulous with my granny’s vintage belt :D
PPS, Its not a camel toe, its a seam :(

      thankyou asperge11!
Believe me, i nearly fainted! I was only expecting her to bring over the machine (which was an absoloute bargain anyway) … but she turned up with everything i could possibly want!
I was sat in my room staring at it and shaking for a long while, haha XD
