Black Comfy Wrap Trousers

I have a colleague who has a pair of comfy-looking trousers that I really like, so I decided to sew one for myself! I bought this great viscose jersey fabric at Stof og stil that feels so soft against my skin and drapes nicely. It will be great to wear in the Copenhagen summer weather. The intstruction says 2.2 meters of fabric, however as my fabric has no problem with moving around the patterns, I managed to save enough fabric for a short summer dress! :-)

First trousers I sew from a Burda pattern, the size 36 seems to fit me well. The only adjustment I had to make was to pin in 2 cm in the back center seam as you can see on the picture.

One tip, when you are sewing the belt on, pin the pleats down at some place, otherwise they will just move around and give you a headache. ;-)

Material Notes

Soft black viscose jersey
Black woven interfacing

Love them! I made the jumpsuit version of these, then split it into pants and top, and love both. Great work with the viscose jersey :)
