Beaded leaf gown

IT’S FINALLY DONE!!! Ugh I never want to hand sew, hand bead, hand, anything again!! I started this gown around 3 weeks ago. I probably could have finished it sooner but I was procrastinating on it a lot…like I said, hand sewing…shivers. I used lace for the panels and then beaded around the edges. For the bodice I cut off some beaded appliqu from this dress I got at Goodwill. Then I put them in a design that I liked and hand sewed all of them together. I used hooks in the back so you can get in and out of it. I’m really excited with the way it turned out, but I’ve decided that my next project will be strictly sewing machine only! ; ) Haha hope you like it.

Material Notes

Sequins, lace, beands, and thread.

Garment Type
Casual, Geek
Chiffon, Lace/Sequins

Just STUNNING!!! I had a very similar idea in mind for a dress I want to make for a school project. Obviously it won’t come close to as nice as what you’ve done here. This dress is so beautiful…. I want to go to the Oscars in it!
