Description

Still so new at this. When I lived in London, a close friend of mine loved the Wickam Wanderers, a British football team. The team colors are baby blue. Hence the name for the dress. The skirt is upcycled from a dress that was falling apart and the top is made from an old bed sheet.

The skirt is gathered and the strapless top has darts in the front and a zipper and tie at the top for a bow closure in the back. It fits, but I learned a lot doing this dress. I also put baby hems along the top and the hems. It’s not really intended for the cotton fabric but I wanted to try a new technique. Perfect summer lounge dress.

Material Notes

Upcycled cotton dress for the skirt; cotton bed sheet for the top part

SO cute! I’m new with the whole darting thing. Could you possibly have some tips or tutorials? I’m a teeny girl, but still need the darts for proper fitting!
