Asymmetrical hem grey ribbed jersey dress

Tank dress with asymmetrical hem in grey ribbed jersey. Drafted a “pattern” by tracing an old racerback tank from American Apparel (also in ribbed jersey), and then lay down and had my partner trace my lower half on newsprint. I saw this dress on shopbop.com last year and have been wanting to make it since. Finally got around to it and have been wearing the hell out of it!

Material Notes

That is so awesome. I have some gray stretchy fabric I haven’t used yet.. Maybe I’ll try to make that beautiful creation of yours!

Thank you kindly! It was really quite simple… stretch fabric is so forgiving.

Thanks! The Sew a Rib Knit Band technique by Burdastyle was very helpful.
