Sf Bay Area, Cal...

I don’t know why the pictures look squished :(

I used the Anita jeans pattern with the following modifications:
- took in center back seam at yoke and waist
- raised/extended center back at yoke
- flat seat adjustment
- graded to a different size at waist

Note that there are a few mistakes? in the pattern instructions:
- sew, don’t baste the pocket fabrics together
- there’s a missing stitching line for most of the sizes, for the top-stitched backwards J at the mock fly

Project described here:

Material Notes

wrangler cotton twill, heather ross mermaid cotton fabric, metal zipper, jean button, lots of thread

Hi Jocelyn I am very glad to see you post your project on Burdastyle I have been following you since the days you posted free patterns for Momoko dolls! I didn’t know you moved to a new online domain..and congratulations on ‘The Jocelyn’ on Burdastyle. What an honour! I have ‘transitioned’ from sewing for Momoko to sewing for my little girl. Cheers!

How wonderful to see you here — I remember the nice things you made for Momoko as well! I’ve mostly stopped making things and drafting for Momoko these days, though it’s always fun to look at the tiny things in Japanese doll magazines.

You’ve made really cute things for your daughter. She is quite lucky to have such a nice wardrobe!
