I think that this pattern is gorgeous. Thanks for the spray stabilizing tip! Didn’t think of that. I will be buying this one soon for sure. How bout the skirt? Gorgeous! I like Taniguchi’s styling and I think Elenore is stunning. So crisp and clean looking. Effortless in beauty.

Did any one make it? I can’t find any pictures of finished projects. Thank you!

Yay! This is the perfect idea for all that chiffon I’ve been eying on the clearance rack at the fabric store! I might be making a lot of these…

Cute top, especially made from chiffon. I’m surprised that fusible interfacing was used [the glue can bleed through the fabric]. Normally with a sheer fabric like chiffon, another layer of chiffon is used as interfacing, so it doesn’t show through.

I have to comment on people saying things about the cost of patterns. The cost charged here is very low, and when people complain about them not being free, I wonder how they can say anything. Maybe they are just cheapskates, but it seems worse than that. It’s like if one day walking down the street you gave a bum some money, and then the next day the bum came up to you and demanded more money. The bum’s reasoning…you gave me money before, you should keep on giving!

Ouch! What a comment! I have to say though, once I went back and took a closer look at the model, what caroleleah says is true. The model is obviously a beautiful woman, but her hair looks like bed-head. And while I don’t find makeup necessary at all for women, since she is modeling there, a little bit wouldn’t hurt. That being said, gorgeous model – even with the blouse I don’t exactly care for! Where do you find all these beauties, Burda? (:

This little blouse is just sweet! I personally couldn’t wear it, as it doesn’t look like a good choice for a “real-sized” woman like me, but I still think the blouse is adorable! Perfect example of how something doesn’t have to be complicated in order to be fresh and pretty. The summery yellow chiffon is a wonderful splash of color, and the lovely model wears it well on her slender figure. The only thing a bit jarring is the “styling” (or rather, the total lack of styling!) done on the hair and makeup. Ryan Taniguchi is obviously a big believer in “less is more”, as in, “no styling is best”. He is at least consistent in his approach, as every shoot he works on ends up with the model looking this way. Sorry for the jab, BurdaStyle, if he’s a favorite, but he doesn’t do your lovely models the justice they deserve.

Those shoes look dangerous, poor girl looks like she’s struggling to stand up lol… and those gloves, sorry but they look like doctors medical gloves! Love the silk chiffon blouse though, very wearable and cute for spring/summer. The yellow really brings out the style :-)

Ridiculously easy. Large rectangle, and strategic placing of casing for drawstring. Spray sizing will make fabric super easy to handle.

    Think pillowcase.

I guess I’m the only one that doesn’t absolutely love this pattern! There’s always someone! (: It’s a pretty top, just not at all something I would wear. Good luck to all who sew it though – I can’t wait to see your versions!

This is a lovely pattern! klf, I’d say that it is rated average because chiffon isn’t the easiest fabric to work with, and the facings for the drawstrings look like they could be a bit tricky to get sitting right. :) I might be buying this one!

Cute! Why is the difficulty level average? It looks really simple.
