Almost skirt-pants

Heerhugowaard, N...

Pants with very wide legs, made out of a soft, flowy fabric with a little shine to it. Wanted it to look almost like a maxiskirt.
This can be worn in so many different ways. Very comfortable. It has a zipper in the back seam. The legs are very long so I can only wear these with very high heels.

These are awesome! I have some fabric that I want to use for similar pant, just no pleats for me.

These are great! Thank you for explaining how you made them. I may have to find some fabric to make myself a pair this weekend!

I could, except for the high heels. I think
I’m gonna shorten it a bit.

Did you use a pattern? What does the back look like?

I altered a basic pants pattern by making to top of the front piece 8 cm wider so I could make the pleats. Then I made the whole leg of the front piece a lot wider and in an A shape. The back piece I only made a bit wider in an A shape. Now the sideseam runs from the side on top to the back at the bottom. I don’t mind that, but a next time I will widen the back equally to the front to prevent that.
