Perth, Australia

Burdastyle’s Danielle dress in a lovely draping, heavy weight cotton knit (from Knitwit, Australia).
Modifcation of the front bodice, making it narrower and with a round neck as opposed to the original square neck. 8cm shorter than the pattern to accommodate my lack of height. No zipper required due to the stretch of the fabric.
Came together well and am happy with it.

Thanks Mary, it is a lovely fit and it makes me think I should just stop wasting my time with other patterns that give me grief!

This is lovely. I’ve been meaning to try another Danielle, and this is just another proof of how good that pattern is. Very flattering on you.

Thanks Toni, I wish I’d made more of these instead of forking out for the Tiramisu! Danielle is just a lovely, classic dress. Just managed to upload my cape onto the Monthly Stitch, finally joined wordpress :)

I like very much this version, your fabric choice and the rounded neckline are very nice and the dress looks perfect on you! Did you alter the sleeves as well? They are less puffy and I like them this way!

Thanks Liliv, I think the drape of the fabric means the sleeves sit a bit flatter :)
