A T-shirt for Erik

Added May 28, 2016

Flicking through the spring/summer catalogue of the local fabric store, I saw this cool jersey with mountains on it and I really wanted to use it for something, so I offered my husband to make him a T-shirt using his favorite T-shirt as a pattern base. The offer was gladly accepted and I set upon the task.
It was easy enough to copy the body, but the sleeves were slightly more tricky so they turned out quite a bit wider than intended, but Erik claims he still likes them like that and likes his T-shirt in general, so I’m happy enough :).
Used delightful soft jersey for the back, sleeves and neck binding in two colors that are not too bright to scare the man off but still match colors in the mountain print well enough :) One of the quickest things I ever made!

Material Notes

Print cotton jersey with a touch of lycra for the front.
100% soft cotton jersey in blue for the back and brown/beige for the sleeves and neck binding.

Men are usually difficult to be pleased with a hand made garment so this is a big success for you!
