A skirt for twirling.

Charleston, Sout...

I made this version of the Linda pattern out of a sheet I found at Goodwill. Had a little trouble following the instructions, so I kind of improvised here and there. Also this is the first garment I’ve made without my boss or my mom around to help me out. There are a few mistakes here and there (which is why I didn’t have my wonderful photographer, Kathleen, take any close-ups) but overall I’m very pleased.

Very pretty! I love your top and flats, too. It makes for such a great overall look.

This is simply adorable, and using a bed sheet, what a good idea! Talk about sustainability!

Very pretty skirt! When I saw the thumbnail on the main projects page, I thought to myself “That would be a great skirt to make from a sheet.” I think it is awsome that you did just that!
