I have been on a circle skirt rampage lately, experimenting with fabric bias and circumferences. This particular skirt is a layered half circle skirt. I will be posting some tutorials about the different types of circle skirts soon…. once I find a little bit of time.

This is a lovely silhouette. Did you in any way reduce the hem circumference from the original calculated pattern when cutting/sewing? I’ve experimented with similar fabric but always end up with far more voluminous folds and want something less dramatic for work.

what a lovely dress, it has such a sweet dreamy quality to it. I love the fabric you have used on the sleeves. BUT is that snow on the ground?? your feet must have been freezing, I hope you put some socks on after these pictures before you caught cold!
