A Pink and Green Top

Added Feb 17, 2008

Escondido, Calif...

I modified the Tara pattern to have kimono sleeves. I also trimmed the neckline with a scrap of leftover quilting cotton. The main body of the shirt is a light weight pink and white polka-dot jersey knit.

Material Notes

pink and white polka-dot jersey knit
light green quilting print

My friend Kim, gave me a birthday card with the little pink and green paper flower. I liked the color combo so much I decided to make a shirt to go with the flower. Thanks Kimbra!

There is a how to for this top with dolman sleeves by Myk. The end results looked quite similar.

The fabric you have used is lovely and I like the trim, very nice
