A little Cream with Black

Added Oct 20, 2013

Kingston, Jamaica

Another simple dress made out of a small piece of drapery fabric that has velvet pattern flowers on it. I contrast it using a black silk taffeta fabric and opt to use the illusion neckline dress November 2010 style from burdastyle.

The front and back yokes are made out of the cream. I modified by adding two armhole bands for the sleeves and removed the pockets. Elastic is at the waistline to shape the dress..

A very relaxed and comfortable look and very easy to make. Happy with the result :-)

Gorgeous kisses!! Both you and the dress. I love how you pulled the bit of tan out of the top fabric by adding the shoes. You look poised elegant and classy like always xx

If something fits and flatters is made out of fab fabric it dos’nt have to be an elaborate item!! Some of my most commented on projects where the easier ones kisses x
