Description
This time not with black but with silver!
I bought this fabric a year ago just because it was so awesome (impulse buy, yes…) and didn’t have anything in mind for it.
I used pieces of it for my sparkly blouse but had a lot left to make something else.
At some point Burda re-featured some old patterns from 2011 and this blouse caught my eye and I’ve been considering it since so I decided let’s try it with this fabric…
I followed the instructions but added piping at the seams to show them off, I really liked how this blouse is constructed. And I can’t tell you what happened to the neck opening and why the two sides don’t exactly meet there, that beats me too :D
Material Notes
knit fabric that contains some viscose, some polyester, some metal and some nylon

You look like a fairy on vacation when she shouldn’t think about serious things and only enjoy her careless rest:-)) The light fabric matches greatly the pattern. The powder hue emphasizes the effect of airiness. I like your image very much!

Thank you so much Oksana :D It is indeed so airy and nice to wear! Too bad the weather in Norway isn’t cooperating :(

Very cool top, i have always wondered about this pattern as i love the neckline but i though it might turn out to oversized but your version looks great and i love the fabric choice, the piping is a great detail.

Tusen takk Ellen! Det var en fin kjole du sydde :) Og den ene toppen som du har her på Burda, deilig hvitt stoff!

ohh, I remember this pattern, the off centre neck drew my attention to it! Never got round to making it though, but it looks like such a fun and comfy blouse and it really looks nice on you!

Nice top, I have this Burda issue but because it’s in tall size never really considered it. And seeing yours I think it’s quite fun and stylish!

Thank you :)
I was a bit worried about the tall business too, but decided not to bother adjusting it to regular (I’m 166cm tall), but you’re more on the petite side, aren’t you? Then the neck opening might get a bit low, but it’s such a simple pattern, should be really easy to chop off a few centimeters here and there :)

I’ve considered this blouse on and off for a while. I wondered whether the off centre neck would annoy me, but yours looks great Maria. Maybe I will make it in a knit like you have.

Thanks Sue :) The off centre neck was one of the things I really liked about it. I’ll be looking forward to seeing yours if and when it happens :)
