hi zaarissima! very nice from you, thanks a lot …to even post the address! Years ago I wore a selfmade shirt with that (old-fashioned) kind of print, that I had made from my father’s not-used-anymore shirt. My teachers kept joking about it. Where has it gone….?

You are funny! No, I have not a secret box on my “dachboden” – I have this secret box in the basement (hihi!!!) The fabric name is Toile de Jouy. This “picture stories on fabric” existed since the 18. century is now offered again increasingly (If you’re somewhere in France, there to visite the Museum Jouy-en-Josas, ca. 4 Km from Versailles. Adress is Chateau de L’Englantine, 54 rue Charles de Gaulle, 78350 Jouy-en-Josas)
I bought the frabric from a ebay-dealer in France, the bottons from a ebay-dealer in Austria.

it would be so great to see this jacket, while wearing it. i really love it, but i think, that the complex cut would be so much better showen, when you make a few moves in it, so we can see the details (and i adore the lining as well!!) great job
