Description

Using a tried and tested pattern (Butterick 5450), this is a top sewn using scuba knit fabric. I followed Kathryn Brenne’s tutorial on sewing with scuba and employed most of her construction techniques like lapped seams. I transferred the original side seam zipper to the center back to take advantage of my exposed lace zipper.

I posted detailed construction tips and photos in my blog “Finished Seams.”

I also reviewed the pattern at Pattern Review.com.
