Description

My first attempt at drafting a bodice pattern and some sleeves to go with it.

Blogged about here.

Material Notes

I used 1m (about 140cm wide) of cotton and 1.5m of lace trim.

I made two muslins to adjust the fit. It’s still not perfect but it was as far as I wanted to go for now. I’m hoping to use the same pattern again but take it in a different direction next time! (and add some better shaping for the back!)

Love the lace and print combo! Makes me think of summertime picnics (and being in the southern hemisphere it’s wishful thinking!)
