Description

I love this pattern. Burda ‘bridal’ dress 106 with the beautiful back pleat and the cute 60s styling. I made this in a tunic length from a soft knit in black. The curved hem and dropped back hem lines were already marked on the dress pattern; I just added a bit more length. I stabilized all of the seams before sewing with stitch witchery, a stretch interfacing, and at the shoulders and pleat a stable stay tape. I added a bow to the back instead of a button. It looks great with jeans or leggings and has a romantic look.

Material Notes

a stable knit in a black.
