Hi, I just stumbled across your zebra print cumberbund and love it. Is it possible to email me the pattern also. We have a burlesque ball on the weekend and I have made a waistcoat for my hubby and want to make a cumberbund and crevat to go with it. My email address is evelyn.0610@yahoo.com.au. Thank you Evelyn

I think I always remember hotot because they look like they’re wearing eyeliner… to look hot (maybe for a night on the town, I’m not sure). Bandit almost looks like one of those plush toys with a felt backing outlining the eyes, if that makes sense. Almost too cute to be real, in any case. :)

Cool! I’m glad we might have figured out the problem— I’m looking forward to your light blue Coffee Date Dress! I’m working on one in blue-gray to test the multi-sized pattern. Good idea on doing the self-lining, by the way. I think I’m going to use that instead of the facing on the multi-sized pattern. Neat that you live in Atlanta too— I lived in Midtown for 5 years and near Grant Park for another year.

Hi! Great job on the Coffee Date Dress! I got the message you wrote on my wall, and hmmmm…. I’m not sure what might have happened to cause you to have so much excess on the skirt front. You said you added 1.5 inches to the bodice front and the same amount to the skirt… the only thing I can think of is perhaps you added 1.5 inches to the skirt front pattern piece which ended up getting doubled when you cut it on the fold, causing you to have 3 extra inches on the skirt front, rather than 1.5? Since the bodice is not cut on the fold, if you added 1.5" to it, you’d have to add only .75" to the skirt front pattern to get them to both increase by the same amount. Is that perhaps what happened? In any case, I don’t see the puckering and it looks great!

Thanks for your comment on my dress. Vintage is great! I thought I would never be able to make that pattern it took heaps of time to work it out but worth it in the end.

I really love the fabric in your 1954 dress, stunning :)
