hey i saw your dress form thumbnail on a comment on an article and think it is so cool! did you make it yourself or did you just find the picture. i cant see it very clearly but it looks like you made a custom fit one like the ones i have seen made out of duct tape. if you did make it i would love it if you could give me some pointers or instructions because i have been looking around for some quality instructions but they all seem a bit poorly made. any help would be fantastic!

umm…sorry but you are a tad confusing me…
do you mean the dress form on my profile picture?
      If you mean that,i haven’t made one,unfortunately.
      I just found the pic.
I have no idea how to make one from scratch.
I know a girl who made it from scratch, but they made them in her sewing school.
I recommend rather buying one, then making one yourself, cause you can find them even from about 50€,if you’re lucky, and nowadays you can put them your size how you feel like. The modern ones are changable to fit your form how you feel like.
I think making one yourself will cost you more then buying one.
And don’t even try the ducktape thing.I did one for my fiancee,it is in awfull way to do it.
If you are really willing to do it yourself,I heard plaster works, plaster molds, like if you’d have a broken leg or arm.and for that you’ll need lots of patience and someone’s help.
Good luck if you decide to do it yourself!
I wish I would have someone to help me do one myself.
