Hi :) I have been trying to improve drawing my designs, and I loved your drawing of your Criss Cross Back Gown and wondered if you had any tips for a beginner like me? Thanks very much, Lauren.

oh my gosh thank you so much! It took a lot of practice to get there. Start by using croquis which are just like a form you can draw clothes on. I actually got a notebook full of croquis with different poses from Urban Outfitters. And play with different mediums until you find something you really like. My art teacher had a giant box of prismacolor markers that I loved because I could blend the colors really easily but some people prefer pen and watercolor.

this is the notebook I have but you can also find templates online
