Nearly 10 meters of fabric to make this dress is INSANE! I think this would make a nice top, but the dress style is making the slim model look very wide. Imagine what it would do to a plus size figure!

Here’s the issue, yes there are plus size patterns – I’ve bought a few (Cowl Dress (Plus Size) 02/2013 #144 and Princess Seam Dress (Plus Size) 02/2013 #139). However, as in retail the smaller size clothing has some kind of shape but the majority of plus sized patterns is a block (no shaping whatsoever). The plus sized maxi dress is not even close to being similar to the one above.

Lovely. Another skinny person pattern. Does anyone make plus size patterns here? Larger women like to dress nicely, too!!!! sigh

I COMPLETELY agree! Why is it there are not patterns in larger sizes??? It is very annoying, I signed up, now thinking about getting off of here and just drafting my own stuff.
