Baby dress sewing pattern available for download, available in various sizes.

This adorable little girls dress is great for special occasions and has special features like a peter collar and ribbon trim. This dress is voluminous with the waist pleating and gives the dress lots of movement. You could even shorten the hemline and make this into a cute little top.

Note: This is the same pattern PDF as the Sailor Dress

Recommended Materials

Lightweight cotton fabrics with some body.

Amount of Fabrics

White piqué,
width: 150 cm (59 ins)
length: 0.55 – 0.60 – 0.65 – 0.70 – 0.75 m
(3/4 – 3/4 – 7/8 – 7/8 – 7/8 yd).

Pink petersham ribbon, 2 cm (3/4 in) wide and 0.70 m (7/8 yd) long.

Grey petersham ribbon, 1 cm (3/8 in) wide and 0.70 m (7/8 yd) long.

Vilene/Pellon G 700.

2 fabric-covered buttons and 3 sew-on snap fasteners.

A piece of batiste, approx. 15 × 35 cm (6 × 14 ins), for lining.

    I made this dress and I love it but I don’know How to link one of my project wit a Burda pattern. Can anyone help me. Thanks

      Hi :) I just saw your post – you can do it by finding the pattern on the Burda site, then copying the address in your browser address bar (Press Control + C) and then paste it into the section in your project details which asks whether the item is based on a project or pattern from the Burda site. You can paste by pressing Control + V. The site will then display the pattern you’ve used on your project. Hope this helps! Debbie
