My first “tall” pattern but I’m “petite” at 5’0". Other than shortening from the bottom, any advice on where to shorten this?

Can someone please tell me the length and width of the full pattern after you have taped it? Preferably in cm. Thanks

My measurements match a size 40 except for my hips (115cm instead of 98cm) Should I move to a larger size?

I don’t understand the sizing on this pattern—the size charts run from 32-60, but the sizes marked on this pattern run from 72-88. Can someone please help me figure out what size I should cut? I usually cut a size 36. Thanks!

It seems to be in tall sizing. You would be a 72 in tall sizing, you can always make the hem and sleeves shorter.

I have an old pink wool coat from Lundstrom from one of her Parka’s… I think I’’m going to re-purpose it into this coat. Happy for the tips up above… Thanks missmelodies and femkevr !

I just finished this (I’ll post pictures right away). I completely ignored the instructions because I was lost after the first two sentences. Anyways, it turned out well! I still don’t know where that neck facing was supposed to go. Guess I’m missing a piece :P If you need some help with jackets or blazers like this, I found this post so helpful:http://grainlinestudio.com/2012/01/09/sewing-tutorial-how-to-bag-a-jacket-lining/
