The sharp graphic angles of this collarless blazer with flap pockets gets a softer look when sewn in the luxurious fabric with metallic threads interwoven. For another striking option, sew the middle front panels in a contrast colour fabric.

Made this jacket last weekend immediately after it went online in a b/w cotton jacquard fabric, I omitted the pockets but made the pocket flaps, and I didn’t line it to keep it light for summer wear. But I neatened up all the inside edges with a Hong Kong finish in black bias tape. Not sure which side I like more, inside or out;-). Lovely and highly recommended!

Would love to see a photo! Do you think this pattern would work with a lightweight linen blend? The fabric is a little bit fluid… :-)
