Women’s coat sewing pattern available for download. Available in various sizes and is produced by BurdaStyle Magazine.

A fashion statement piece! This navajo-inspired coat features raglan sleeves, wide sleeves, front pocket openings and a large hood. It has an open style silhouette but can be closed with a hook and eye. The most fascinating part is the faux leather pieces sewn onto the lower part of the sleeves.

This pattern is from the Stampede collection.

Recommended Materials

Heavy wool material, preferably with navajo print. Leather for sleeves.

Amount of Fabrics

This coat looks awful! I made it in black and I look like the grim reaper in it. The instructions and labelling are really confusing. It was a waste of 4 meters of wool and countless hours.

Ok also really confused by the step about sewing the “facing” to the “should seam”. Which facing?! Which shoulder seam?

I’m trying to make this but stuck on the first step! Does the .pdf pattern come with more complete instructions than the magazine version? Can anyone explain to me how the pockets come together? Thanks! Nicole
