For anyone that has made this: On the finished garment, do the front facings end up on the OUTSIDE or the INSIDE? How about the back-of-neck facing? I can’t even make out how it’s supposed to end up from the pattern photo…

The instructions are so awful especially for a beginner. Im currently learning to sew and need patterns that spell things out so I understand the basic principles of shirt making. This couldn’t be further from that, with the instructions being a single block of text.

The instructions are certainly poor and incomprehensible – especially for a total novice (such as me!). I did, however, with the help of MrsBob, manage to work it out and all facings, side and back of neck end up inside the shirt. Let me know if I can assist further.

I’m so stumped with the (minimal) directions about the neck facing. I wish there were drawings to accompany the pattern directions.

I’m confused about the amount of fabric needed for the size 50/40. My thoughts are to make this shirt using this fabric for the most part: http://www.hemptraders.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=CT%2DM7&CartID=1 and this fabric for the two front inner panels: http://www.hartsfabric.com/alexander-henry-cartas-marcadas-stamps-tea-70564.html please advise thank you RF
