The design of this blouse is charming but the pattern is another disaster from Burda style. 1) the shoulder’s width on the front pieces is very wrong, and it can be clearly seen in both the light blue and the dark blue samples made by two lovely ladies. 2) The sleeve length is extremely long and has no differences between the 5 sizes. 3) The side pieces on the back should be cut closer to the center because if made as the pattern shows, they have no sense at all as they do not serve the shaping purpose they are suppose to. For this blouse to fit as it should, at least 3 cm for size 34 had to be add to shoulder line on the front center pieces Also the side panels on the back should be wider ,more centered. If you cut the sleeves in the original length and they are too long, it’s not a problem to cut them shorter later on but I would recommend to make first a muslin of the body itself because frankly it’s a disaster as it is. And, I don’t care if any of the ones who read my post feel bothered, look at the pictures of the pieces made and tell me honestly if that is the right fit for a blouse. And the problem comes from the people who made this pattern not from the people who made the pieces themselves. I make muslins and know how to make corrections but if you don’t,that’s the result you will get from this pattern.
