As I cannot see the instructions or pattern details (unfortunately, not available to members anymore, unless we purchase the pattern first) and it doesn’t say in the limited info we now get…is that a pocket welt on the left hip piece…is it a functional pocket…??? I too would like to know about the answer to the prior question and raw edges at the waist… Thanks…

It is a functional pocket on my instructions.

I read the instructions for this and it seems the top edge where the 3 pattern pieces meet are just left exposed. Is that correct?

It says on my instruction " Lay upper, middle and lower units one on tops of the other. Stitch together along upper edge close to seam allowance. Trip away seam allowance". I am guessing that you are right and it is just left exposed.
