Women’s skirt sewing pattern available for download. Available in various sizes.

In the summer of love a romantic, tiered skirt was essential. In the summer of 2013 it’s sewn from different batiste fabrics and does without a waistband. It’s so airy and light that you won’t want to wear anything else…

Note: This is the same pattern PDF as the Tiered Mini-Skirt

This pattern is from the Street Chilling collection.

I agree with both of you. I have been cutting out this skirt and have found it difficult to figure out which pieces should be used. In fact, the download includes pieces for another version (#122), which are a bonus but not relevant for this pattern. Pattern pieces for the yoke and pockets are included. You have to draft your own tissue for the skirt tiers following instructions given, although it is easy to do so, especially with Burda’s grid-printed tissue paper.

I really love the fabrics this skirt is made of in the photos – does anyone know where the fabrics may be purchased from?

The fabrics in Burda’s version are by Liberty of London, which can purchased in many places, but try Shaukat in London, where it is cheaper than elsewhere. Also try British ebay.

The instructions and the pattern don’t seem to make any sense & do not relate to one another. The instructions seem to contradict themselves in quantities of material.

    Very confusing!
