Recommended Materials

Scraps of various fabrics and/or leather. Plain cotton fabric for the back of the bag.

Amount of Fabrics

Original fabric/requirements: Black cotton fabric: 1.00 × 0.50 m (1 1/8 × 5/8 yds). Black­ and­ white striped cotton fabric: 0.60 × 0.50 m (3/4 × 5/8 yd). Salmon­ coloured sat­in: 0.45 × 0.45 m (5/8 × 5/8 yd).

- 3 different fabrics (see above)
- Small piece of metallic leather
- Zipper 16 cm (6") long
- Seam tape (T10 from Vilene/Pellon)
- 4 metal eyelets with washers Ø 8 mm (¼")
- Scissors
- Hole punch
- Pins
- Chalk pencil
- 3.50 m (4 yds) of cord (Ø 5 mm/ 3/16")
- Fusible web
- Thread
- Hammer
- Tape measure
- Ruler
- Clips (buy here)
- Piece of buckram
- Safety pin
